History on Mensa in North America now on film

Rare film and voice recordings of some of the founders of Mensa feature in a new video created to celebrate 50 years of Mensa in North America.

The video was shown to some 2000 members and their guests at American Mensa's Annual Gathering in Dearborn, Michigan in July.  Mensans from the US, Canada and Mexico were joined by many members from other parts of the world in a great celebration of this unique society, whose aims include encouraging research into intelligence and fostering intelligence for the benefit of humanity, as well as creating a stimulating social environment for its members.

The video is on YouTube in two parts:

The materials used were taken from the society's American and International archives.

Mensa Internatonal would be interested in hearing from anyone who has any early or interesting materials on Mensa to share.
