Asian Mensa Annual Gathering 2017 a huge success!

Nearly two hundred Ms from seventeen different countries celebrated our cultural diversity at the Asian Mensa Annual Gathering (AMAG) this weekend.

AMAG moves to a different Asian (or Australasian) country each year and has so far been held in Malaysia (KL), Indonesia (Bali), Singapore, Sth Korea (informally), Japan, China and now Australia.

Members from he participating countries gathered on Australia's beautiful Gold Coast, mingling with visitors from the USA and Canada, Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands, Britain and even from as far afield as Denmark.

Attendees enjoyed beach game tournaments, barbies at the surf club, an impressive array of international speakers, a social programme, and a concurrent Kids' Conference.

Attendees also became proficient in 'Strine' - the broad Australian drawl - with its accompanying slang!
