Today marks the beginning of a new term of office for the Executive Committee of Mensa International.

Bibiána Balanyi, of Hungary, retains the office of International Chairman for a second term.

Dan Burg, from the USA, takes over as Director of Administration; Rudi Challupner, from Austria, takes up the reins as Director of Development, the Mensa Treasury will be administered by Nick Sanford from the USA, and Mark Dettinger, from Switzerland, is the new International Director - Smaller National Mensas (D-SNM). All have dedicated years of service to Mensa on the International Board of Directors, and their leadership now will ensure that Mensa will continue to expand both its membership and its vision. 

Also on the Executive Committee are the chairmen of the three largest national Mensas: LaRae Bakerink, from American Mensa begins an ExComm term today, and Chris Leek, proxy for the British chairman and Jens Wiechers, proxy for the chairman of Mensa in Germany, continue their service.
