In 2025, each Mensa meeting will be an opportunity to celebrate our 60th anniversary with special moments, surprises and unique activities all over France!

General Assembly Weekend

Dates: May 28st – June 1st
Location: Toulouse, France

Only for members and their guests!

🗳️ A Key Moment

The General Assembly is an opportunity to vote on major decisions, approve the moral and financial reports, discuss statutory changes, and validate the budget for the following year. It is also a time for exchange and debate between members and the National Committee, ensuring that Mensa continues to evolve according to the expectations of its members. The National Committee will also review the actions and initiatives of the past year and present upcoming projects to provide a clear vision of the association’s future directions.

♻️ Ecological and Digital Evolution

Until now, each member received the preparatory documents by mail: six double-sided black-and-white sheets, printed, placed in an envelope, stamped, and sent to more than 4,800 members across France. The ecological and financial impact of such a mailing was considerable: 29,000 sheets of paper, plus ink, envelopes, and postal transport.

During its meeting on February 22, 2025, the National Committee unanimously voted for a major change: starting this year, all documents will be made available online on the Mensa France forum, and the invitation will be sent by email.

This not only reduces our ecological footprint but also makes discussions more dynamic by facilitating exchanges ahead of the General Assembly.

📣📣📣📣 The Mensa France General Assembly will take place this year in Toulouse on May 31, 2025.

This essential event for democracy within our association allows every member to contribute to the major decisions shaping the future of Mensa.

Whether you wish to be actively involved, ask questions, or simply follow the discussions, your participation is valuable!

Access to Documents and Discussion Opportunities

The documents will be available from Week 18 on the forum under the GENERAL ASSEMBLIES section:

  • Agenda
  • Moral Report
  • Financial Report 2024
  • Provisional Budget 2025
  • Proposed Statutory Amendments
  • Other Items Submitted for Voting

Thanks to the forum, each member will be able to ask questions, debate agenda items, and prepare for the General Assembly with full transparency.
Video conferences may also be organized to facilitate discussions.

🤩 The Midi-Pyrénées region welcomes you for a weekend filled with meetings, discoveries, and celebrations!

Let’s meet in the “Pink City” for a program that combines conviviality and sightseeing—there will be something for everyone!

After the General Assembly, Mensans from all over France are invited to a gala evening.

  • 🏙️ See the blushing pink-brick buildings

that give the city its nickname of ‘La Ville Rose’. The façade of the Capitole has eight pink marble columns.

  • 🎷 Hear music of every genre

Take your pick of festivals from Rio Loco (world music) or Les Siestes Électroniques in June, Piano at the Jacobins in September, and the organ and jazz bonanzas in October.

  • 🌼 Smell violets,

which line the flowerbeds of the Henri-Gaussens botanic garden from March to May. The Toulousain violet is said to have been introduced to France by Napoléon III in the 19th century and is celebrated at a dedicated festival every February.

  • 🚀 Touch rides and attractions at the Cité d’Espace

This exciting theme park on the outskirts of Toulouse is home to full-scale models of the Ariane 5 rocket, Mir space station and Soyuz spacecraft.
